Supporting Manchester: Sheridan Skips Proudly Backs Manchester Clean-Up Initiative Once Again
At Sheridan Skips, we believe that strong communities are built when people come together with a shared purpose. That’s why we were proud once again to support a Manchester clean up initiative by providing skips completely free of charge, helping residents safely and efficiently clear waste and reclaim their environment.

Wednesday 18th March is Global Recycling Day
This effort was delivered in partnership with One Manchester, an organisation dedicated to improving the lives and neighbourhoods of local people. Together, we worked to ensure that residents had the resources they needed to take pride in their surroundings and make a visible difference in their community.
The clean-up also aligns with the wider goals of Manchester City Council’s “Keep Manchester Tidy” campaign, which encourages everyone to play their part in maintaining cleaner, greener, and more welcoming neighbourhoods across the city. By supporting this initiative, we are contributing to a broader movement focused on sustainability, civic pride, and environmental responsibility.
Providing skips free of charge for this project meant that residents could dispose of unwanted items responsibly without the usual cost barrier. From household waste to bulky items, our skips made it easier for volunteers and families to work together and achieve real results in a short space of time.
We’re incredibly proud to have played a small part in such a positive initiative. Seeing communities come together, take action, and transform their local areas is exactly why we do what we do.
